Farewell America
As too late I fear it be
So close you came to your quarter millennial birthday
Close till your Constitution was pillaged and raped.
I’m all-powerful, the victor aped
Surly and masked icy marauders snatch Brown People… he hopes they instill fear
Military minding your streets to squelch any rumor of dissent they hear.
In this old fascism he resurrects, only white on the flag
So bloated your prisons with those who spoke out, his actions to tag.
How the budding dictator egotistical and vain rewrites history in favor of him
Egregious and shameless the supreme court acquiesces to his whims
Ranting his is the only way, the only thought, and all against him are enemy within, he
Embalms you in favor of his dictatorship.
